I have extensive experience with telecom network components. I used to work in the telecom industry. Daily? I use standard telephonic stuff, nothing fancy and no special electronics.

cost vs use. Resources vs use. How many calls can be carried over the current resources? What is the cost of routing calls down one path versus another? At what point do they need to re-optimize the system or add resources. What is the cost to do so. Is the number of users and revenue keeping pace with the need for resources? How to increase usage (to increase revenue) without over burdening the resources. How to better balance the load.
