Question by Dana: How can I get the computer in one room to send stuff to the printer on my computer in another room. Internet?
I have a printer hooked up to the computer in my room. My daughter has a computer in her room and no printer. How can she do her homework on her computer, but have it print out on the printer in my room? Do I need the internet on one computer or both? Maybe not at all?

The simplest solution for you would be to get a router to hook both computers up to. They run anywhere from to 0 US.
That way you can set up file and print sharing over your home network, plus you can have internet on both computers.
